End of 2025-2026 Ski Season

Posted March 16th, 2026

All good things must come to an end. Though there might still be some patches of snow in the fields and in the woods, we have come to the end of the 2025-2026 Nordic ski season at the Maine Outdoor Wellness Center. It started way back in early December and went non-stop until early March. We had great powder, good cold temperatures, and lots of great skiing this winter. Thank you to everyone for coming to the MOWC this winter, whether it was for Nordic skiing, snowshoeing, the elementary Nordic program, and/or watching a race. We thank you for stopping by. Be sure to stay tuned for further off-season programming.

Comments:  Most trails were freshly groomed this morning with a fresh track set! It is colder today so the snow is fast but beautiful! Enjoy the nice March skiing! FYI: the parking lot is a bit icy so use extra caution.

Snowshoeing is welcome in the woods but please do not snowshoe on the groomed ski trails.

Please no walking on the groomed ski trails and pets are not allowed.

Our sledding hill is also open! You are welcome to use the sleds in the lodge. The hill is fun, fast, and there is even a jump to try!

Please sign in when you arrive. The signup sheet is located inside the new lodge. Look for the sign on the door. The trails are free to use!

No walking/snowshoeing on the groomed ski trails and no dogs on the ski trails. Snowshoeing is welcomed through the woods. There are a few donated skis to rent for free inside the lodge.
