About Us
Who we are
We are a grouping of friends, family and community volunteers who work together to manage and maintain the site and surrounding trails!
Mission
Our mission is simple: To preserve the memory of Roy Varney by providing opportunities to access the outdoors for all Turner and surrounding residents of central Maine and New England
Diversified Farming
Roy wanted to create a space at the North Farm where he could train for Biathlons year-round. Being able to utilize active farm land as outdoor recreational space allows us to actualize a part of his goal
Goals for 2025 & Beyond
1) Biathlon Range
2) Canoe / Kayak Access
3) Building Development

We are in a constant process of updating and improving our facilities, as such, some of the listed activities may not be available during your visit! Thank you for understanding.
